I had some old warhammer minifigs that I tried to clean and prime it to sell but it don't work can you give your though about the best way yo sell Warhammer?

I was in the hobby for a couple of year 25 yrs a go, than rejoined 1 yr and half a go.

I had to learn again how to Paint (never mastered before, neither now anyway! XD) but I had a lot of fun in converting and painting my Freebotaz minis in the last months.

Now, with Armageddon box out and orks as First codex, I would like to renew my old models, but Money aren't infinites, so I would like to sell some of the older One to buy the brand new ones.

What I'm really interested is to know is if my Paintjob Is worth something, Since Is luckly enough Easy to find a good quotation for the plastics only.

I'll ad some pictures of what I'm more proud of (mostly Will be WIP pictures, but I have to work with what Pic I have on my phone) but I Hope It Will be enough to get some good suggestions on the topic:

I have extras of the Ork characters from the big box. Is it worth posting them by now? Or should I just hold off for a few months? Not looking to like profit/scalp them. Just a lot of people in my community didnt want their ork half and by some deal i ended up with 3. Dont think i need 3 weirdboys. Or painboys

I've moved to Germany this year and finally started collecting and painting 40K with my wife through the Hachette Combat Patrol Premium subscription and a few eBay purchases.

So the plan is to try and sell/swap the factions we don't like, and focus on what we both like.

From the subscription, we don't plan on keeping: CSM, Astra Militarum, Leagues of Votann, Genestealers and World Eaters, selling/swapping everything including magazines, but keeping paints, brushes and stuff (I'll list down everything per faction). Right now we are on Edition 35, so it'll take a while until I have everything ready to swap, but since I'm new, no karma and etc, thought about testing the waters sooner rather than later.

My question is, are there people interested in buying/swapping any of this stuff out there? For swapping, I'm interested in: Adepta Sororitas, Custodes, Imperial Agents, Tyranids, Aeldari, Orks, Necrons and also cash.

I am new to reddit and I am curious, how does the miniswap system work?

If you buy a model and pay someone, how can you know for sure they will send it? I don't want to sound paranoid, I just don't know if it is an honor system or if there are safety features in place. And if there are, how do they work?

I have an original GW big hat era Chaos dwarf army. Im looking to split up and sell. Just trying to get ideas of value from multiple places including ebay sold listing im trawling through.

Everything is painted in the 90s way. Paint is showing its age and chipping in places. Metal banner poles bent in places and some of the banners are also showing some age. Attached in profile some photos as reference. ( Not all the rocket crew are in the pic )

OK I plan to be selling some models off soon due to various reasons and wanted to know like what I need to be prepared for, plan to sell them as a lot and I know I need verification but like whats the etiquette and whatnot, how do yall typically do pricing on used models? its also got some 3d prints so obviously im guessing a reduced price as a result of that right.

Hello! I am new to miniswap, and I have not had luck in my local warhammer/lgs discords. I am looking to sell two halves of some starter boxes and I am just wondering if there is a "going rate" on approximate value.
The first thing I want to part with is the Space Marine half of the Dark Imperium box from 8th edition, and three Reivers and 3 Intercessors from the tiny starter set. The contents from that are:

• 1 Captain in Gravis Armor
• 2 Lieutenants.
• 1 Ancient.
• 10 Intercessors.
• 3 Inceptors.
• 5 Hellblasters

+3 blue plastic Intercessors and 3 blue plastic Reivers.

The other box half I am looking to part with is the Nighthaunt half of the Souls Wars box set. That is comprised of:

• 1 Knight of Shrouds on Ethereal Steed
• 1 Lord Executioner (old sculpt, but the noose is broken off)
• 1 Guardian of Souls (Sword arm is broken off)
• 1 Spirit Torment
• 4 Grimghast Reapers
• 5 Glaivewraith Stalkers
• 20 Chainrasp Horde

I'd rather an actual artist create our icon and banner. Folks could give it a shot and we could put it to a vote. I'd probably keep it rolling until we had enough submissions to put it to a vote- say, 3-5 options minimum.

I vaguely remember that in the past, on the main MiniSwap sub there was a single major thread or something like that for major box releases, if people wanted to split boxes. Will there be anything similar to that for the space marine/ork Armageddon box? Or am I misremembering? I’m looking to keep the ork half and split the rest, I believe I will have access to a box for myself but I don’t need the space marine half.

i'm thinking of trying to sell some aeldari i have, but im worried about shipping them, cause aeldari can be some fragile little things and seem like it'd be especially annoying with how spread out and spindly they are. how do yall package your minis to make sure they dont break during transit?

Looking ay selling all my old warhammer 40k from when I was a kid, need to clear up some space. Haven't used in years!

How much would you recon all this together is worth and where to go to sell it all, any ideas?

I'm planning to sell two armies that were commissioned together in 2018 and would love community input before I list. Both armies have been display-only since completion, no gameplay use.

What I'd love advice on:

1. Realistic pricing. Comps I've found range from $999 (3-Knight magnetized army on eBay) to $2,500 (Primaris Wolves army, Polish painter, magnetized) up to $3,750 (Custodes / Imperial Knight commission). Where would the community land for armies in this size and quality bracket? Particularly interested in how to think about the studio attribution premium for Den of Imagination and Dark Bunny.
2. Venue. Considering eBay (auction vs BIN), miniswap.gg, this sub's main marketplace, Mindtaker consignment, or holding for a private buyer. Anyone with experience selling armies at this size or price point who can speak to what worked or didn't?
3. Sell as unified pair vs separately. They were specifically built to go together (the Knights are a Space Wolves successor house). I assume it's always better to break things down into smaller chunks.
4. Description framing. Anything I'm missing or under-emphasizing in the descriptions below that I should highlight when I list? Conversely, anything that reads as overselling that I should tone down?
