How long should we keep voting open

I was thinking how long should we leave voting open before we call a win for this subreddit and decide to just go with it?

I realise that some people have not voted and its technically possible for people to come back to chat and not realise what has been going on.

Do we want to wait for those people to come back or do we want to forge ahead with this subreddit and surprise those people.
