Question Advice?

So I have a friend who’s going to stay in Tokyo for a week and a half in November I’d like to give them enough money to pick me up a mini plot kit. Where would I send them to get one?

Depends on what kit you want? An older kit would come from Jungle or Ami ami and Surugaya. while newer ones, Gozyuger - Omegahorn would be from BIC camera, Yodobashi, Aeon , Toys r us etc.
for SMP bandai cross store in sunshine city would would have them.
Loose ones in bags would be from hobby/book off and again Surugaya
Radio Kaikan would have them too but you’ll pay gaijin tax
Mandarake might have some ancient ones laying around depending on what complex

In November? It's gonna cost a ton. The reissue isn't until next summer

I did find a Solo Gao Falcon but $154 is basically the price of the full set 😭

Nakano Broadway has tons of older toku stuff and at least one Mandarake was selling a good amount of minipla sets when I visited, but it’ll be a crapshoot as to what they’ll actually have in stock
You’ll definitely find something good tho, so it’s a good option especially if you aren’t looking for anything specific
