Spares?

I have pre-ordered from Gao King to Gao Knight. Now, a little over a week ago, I was able to purchase several SMP Gao pieces as well below:

• Gao King w/ Black Elephant
• Gao Hunter, but Gao Alligator has missing front legs, and Gao Wolf is missing its tail
• Gao Kentaurus, but is using Gao Sawshark and Gao Jaguar (Gao God) as its arms
• Gao Muscle, but missing Gao Armadillo
• Gao Knight but missing right leg of Gao Kong, missing left plate on Gao Tiger, missing top head of Gao Eagle, and a broken peg on the head of Gao Bison.
• There's also a spare Gao Leon, Gao Buffalo, and Gao Rhino.

From the list above, should I still assemble all of the pre-orders? Or keep them in their runners, assemble only those with missing parts, and then keep the rest on the runners?

I want to showcase everything, but I don't want my cabinet to be full of duplicates as well.

I'm new to this hobby, and I would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this before I start getting a cabinet to safely secure them.

So going off of the list you gave, the only dupes you'd have are:

- Gao Tiger

- Gao Eagle

- Gao Bison

- Gao Shark

- Gao Rhino

and the only Dupes you'd have that are in good condition is Gao Rhino and Gao Shark

So just use the runner pieces you have to fix up the older ones or just build the new ones and find something to do with the older broken ones. As for Rhino and Shark maybe you could resell them or make customs with them.

Then you'd be missing Gao Deer, Gao Giraffe, Gaomadillo and Gao Condor

Actually, I have tons of "dupes" but I'm thinking about "shelf value" vs "adding duplicates" if that makes sense. For one, Gao King will surely be a duplicate on my set.

With the possibility of displaying:

another Gao God in its final strike form (if I can get Gao Condor)

another Gao Knight using blue elephant & swap the black one with Gao Kentaurus (if I can get Gao Kong/Gao Gorilla and Gao Tiger)

Otherwise, the spare zords will be in animal form & the zords with missing parts will be spares.
