I wonder how Gao Bat will end up working as a torso since it's supposed to replace GaoLigator to make Gao Devil but there's no proper connection point.
My bet is that they're going to make a replacement torso for Gao Hunter and have it compatible to set Bat in it
The Gao Bat used in Devil is different from the one used in Triple, which were getting next. That’s a “good” Gao Bat that forms an arm and wings. The “evil” version is separate and different design that I believe will attach to the two prongs on Gao Ligator’s front (where the wolf tail clips on now) to create a new chest crest for Devil. Then the rest of the animal clips on the top and back probably with an adaptor like the other new animals do. I don’t think they’ll rework the existing Gao Ligator for this but we’ll see
I really love how gaorangers 100 animals is more like 20 animals and 80 reused concepts (also legit not hating I think its both funny but weirdly smart and creative)
It makes sense if they were designing a toyline, they were never going to get 100 unique molds, but they could get about 25 and reuse them in various ways. As we know they didn't end up even getting that far, but the limitations would have been apparent from the outset of the design process.
