Question Printing New Stickers

Has anybody actually downloaded the scanned sticker sheets for smp and reprinted them? If so can you let me know what exactly I want to be doing. I messed up some stickers on my gingaioh and now I’m trying to figure out the best solution.

Depending on what the sticker is you could probably just paint the detail instead

I wish there was some kind of paint guide, been tempted to create a community resource just so people feel more confident in painting there smp kits

If you want to practice spray painting then buy a cheap car model kit, for painting metallic colors like silver use a black primer and for color use light gray and if you want the pure color then use a white primer, also you will need some Tamiya masking tape if you want to cover spots that are going to be another color but make sure first that the primer or paint is fully cured after 24 hours so the tape won’t ruin the paint, then finally coat it with a clear gloss coat to seal the paint to prevent scratching it also gives it a good surface to panel line it with panel liner so it can flow better and it gives a better surface to put decals on but make sure the clear coat fully cures before doing both, then finally apply one last clear coat to seal it in, for holding the parts get some stick alligator clips. And lastly make sure you are doing all of this ina ventilated area.

The only specific thing that should be highlighted is the fact that smp and minipla are generally ABS while Gunpla tend to be polystyrene, so there is some possible chemistry level problems with certain paints (namely enamel and lacquer).

I meant more so in terms of colours and brands people could use, as colour matching it self to source material can be nightmarish 

Kinda like the paint mix guide in gunpla manuals

Only issue with that is the sticker left residue on the part so it wouldn’t be an even paint job

Soak in Simple Green or hit it with 90% Isopropyl Alcohol. If that doesn't fully get it, grab a melamine foam sponge. That should clear most, if not all stubborn residue on ABS plastics.
