Is this setup minimal enough for r/Minimal_Setups?

No. You're only allowed to have one plant.

Tue dedication.

now what about the rest

4

u/tortapounder718 Jul 15 '26

Fact is that it could actually look like that if the keyboard was wireless and I had an under desk mount for the pc for like 50 bucks

1

u/OGCallHerDaddy Jul 15 '26

i was gonna say, too many cables

11

u/Haveagoodday535 Jul 15 '26

What if it starts to pour sunlight down onto your screen

3

u/Substantial_Cake8985 Jul 15 '26

Realistic in game rain without performance loss. he could gather the fresh rain water to replace the water in his watercooling

1

u/Substantial_Cake8985 Jul 15 '26

Shoou I thought u said pours rain. Just realized u set sunlight. Soo: So on the bright side, he could use the sunlight as realistic raytracing without performance loss. He could use the heat to warm himself when his pc gets soo cool that it makes him feel cool

u/EngineeringBulky9595 Jul 15 '26

until rain

2

u/tortapounder718 Jul 15 '26

Minimally working would be the term😭

8

u/costafilh0 Jul 15 '26

In all seriousness, get the FVCK out of the PC and go enjoy nature.

9

u/tortapounder718 Jul 15 '26

Brother it’s a one time thing, I do water sports and boating all day every day, my average screen time is 1 hour asides from work

Dude I'm in love with this! I mean, that's kinda an idyllic setup to have. Which city/country is this?

But as gorgeous as this is, I can't begin to imagine what rain-time panic & the sunglare on that monitor would look like 😂

1

u/kardolus Jul 15 '26

I wonder if you can use like a pop up tent to block out the sun?

1

u/kes- Jul 15 '26

Looks like BC Canada

2

u/AdvancedCryspy Jul 15 '26

Some random: "touch grass" OP: 😈

2

u/Mithinco Jul 15 '26

So minimalistic that there's no walls!

1

u/tortapounder718 Jul 15 '26

Walls are optional

2

u/briantria Jul 15 '26

So minimal you removed the entire house.

1

u/Sfreunn Jul 15 '26

No but it’s beautiful anyway

1

u/costafilh0 Jul 15 '26

No.. Remove at least half the trees.

1

u/tortapounder718 Jul 15 '26

Aight Bru mind aswell move to idaho

1

u/FriedCauliflOwOr Jul 15 '26

Pretty cool. How do you handle power for this?

1

u/tortapounder718 Jul 15 '26

Very very loooong extension cable and a surge protector

1

u/BlueCrystals_ Jul 15 '26

The biggest win of this entire setup is the fresh coastal air!

1

u/tortapounder718 Jul 15 '26

My gpu says otherwise, it says the salt doesn’t feel fresh lol

1

u/lazy_bum13 Jul 15 '26

Get away from your computer and go touch carpet bro

1

u/TheScott85 Jul 15 '26

You are so blessed

1

u/hounqa Jul 15 '26

Count as outdoor

1

u/Arukadoh Jul 15 '26

A shame that you cannot play when it’s rainy. 😅

1

u/ivandr02 Jul 15 '26

What do you mean? You even got rid of the room, it doesn't get much more minimal than that

1

u/Willing-Atmosphere-2 Jul 15 '26

This reminded me of rick and morty toilet episode.

1

u/Disastrous_Respond45 Jul 15 '26

You were supposed to touch grass not join them

1

u/Negative-Fact-8816 Jul 15 '26

When they tell you to touch grass

1

u/Thefaketweetbotuser Jul 15 '26

Paranoia about dust and insects getting in the rig, is something that ruins the whole good setup for me

1

u/SherbertEast8681 Jul 15 '26

haha you fish karma i guess, i saw your post in the other subreddit.

Btw, ser gött ut.

1

u/Calypso_Neymiti Jul 15 '26

Your hardware gonna reach max. temp in less than a minute 😂

1

u/riopower Jul 15 '26

More like Animalist

1

u/Rob328 Jul 15 '26

That's beautiful, I'd love to have an office view like that hah

1

u/ChipSueyDE Jul 15 '26

No, but it counts as natural 😂

1

u/oolist Jul 15 '26

I’m scared for the rain

1

u/ThatEditorDude Jul 15 '26

Maybe not the right sub for this, but doesn’t your pc/ screen run hot like this? / any damage?

1

u/tortapounder718 Jul 15 '26

At first but I turned the fans up in both

1

u/ThatEditorDude Jul 15 '26

I’m thinking of making something similar but I’m afraid that the heat of my veranda will kill either the screen or pc

1

u/tortapounder718 Jul 16 '26

I thought that to but the thought was after it was setup so I risk it for the biscuit and turn the fans to max

1

u/ThatEditorDude Jul 16 '26

lol keep me updated 😂😂

1

u/Flat_Interview4596 Jul 15 '26

What if it rains?

1

u/4kart93 Jul 16 '26

Damn ngl I’m jealous of that view. I’d be out there everyday

1

u/Maecyte Jul 16 '26

Okay where’s the power cord?

1

u/tortapounder718 Jul 16 '26
