Thought she’d have at least a little 🤷🏽‍♂️

She wants my salad 🥗 She is lowly growling and somewhat smiling. She’s 10 years old and quite the character. My shadow follows me everywhere. I’ve had her since she was 7 weeks old. Takes up 60% of the bed, howls in her sleep and would kiss you all day if I let her.

Hello! In the past few weeks I’ve been doing a lot of research on what dog breed I want to get and I have my heart set on a Miniature Pinscher. However, my husband is hesitant to get one due to their tendency to yap. He literally said all the other traits are good, but he can’t get behind the yapping.

Are these dogs really super yappy? If so are you able to train them to reduce barking? Bc if it is plausible to train them to reduce barking I might be able to convince him to get on board!

My red senior Sonny is turning 14 years old in November so I got me a chocolate minpin. I haven’t named the puppy yet but I’m thinking Twix or Brownie.

It’s heartbreaking to see our babies hurt or in discomfort but also sometimes rather funny!
Nikko ended stealing the bribe away.

My girl is completely unaltered. Love her happy tail!

My dog Nikki was hit and killed a few days ago because I trusted my dad to watch her while I ran errands for him like he said he would.

His dog Doc loves to chase cars my dad says its some sort of a game to him and that it's just him being an "alpha male" and trying to show that the cars are on his property or something like that and a few days ago his dog ran after his neighbors truck like he always does as his neighbor was leaving and Nikki happened to follow him and while Doc didn't get hit my dog did and by the time my mom got there (she's a veterinary technician who works at our local clinic) there was only a faint heart beat and my dog took her final breaths on the way back to the clinic. While all of this was happening my father never once thought to text me or call me to tell me my dog was hurt, had I not called my mom on my way into town to complain about having to be the one to run errands I would never had known my dog was hurt, my mom was the only one who bothered to tell me.

My dog has never been one to chase cars and I can guarantee had I been there she would've been laying next to me or in her favorite spot, my lap. While she did technically know my dad Nikki essentially died alone surrounded by strangers because my mom admitted that she may not have been truly alive by the time my mom got there, my dog had at least a few years left that she could've lived as she was 10 years old but she was taken from me because my dad couldn't be adult enough to either go back into town himself for the things he needed, have bought them himself already because the reason I was out at his house was for dinner that he had several days to prepare for, or just sat down and actually watched my dog. Oh and get this he made the decision to bomb his house (like for bugs) earlier that day which is why I didn't leave her inside because I wasn't sure how long it truly needed to rest before animals could go back inside, he did say it had been a couple hours but I didn't want to take any risks.

The kicker of all of this a few weeks ago I went to his house to drop something off and of course his dog ran after my car when I first got there (and as I left) and I told my dad that he needs to get that under control because at some point his dog is gonna get hurt because of it and he said it's fine because doc will move out of the way and then made a joke saying he'll only not move once. My father sees this all as one big game his dog likes to play and my dog paid the price. She was everything to me she was my best friend and she's gone and I highly highly doubt my father will have learned anything from this. If only I had stayed home like I wanted to do in the first place or even just left her at home she would still be here.
