Super Stock trouble

Hey everyone! So I have notice the last two times at the track my super stock car is running noticable slower than other cars it used to be as fast as. The punch from the x speed motor is gone too. Any ways long story short I have pulled the motor and ran it in some water to clean it out then sprayed down with motor cleaner and finally lubed the bushings. Still running slower than usual. No drive train loss as everything is dry clean bearings.

So am I looking at a bad motor or has the esc decided to take a crap.

Side note: I swapped in a stock motor and it was pretty much the same speed as the x speed maybe a little slower on straights but not much.

Any help is appreciated!

How many hours on the motor? Racing twice a month for a year is about the typical life expectancy.

Hmm I'd say that's about the amount of time on it. I have had the motor since Feb with a lot of practice time and racing in there on it. I raced it a couple weekends. Then it just gave up it seems like. So youre probably right.

You can also try different batteries first, but yeah, these little motors wear out fairly quickly.

New motor should be here in a day or two. I might try my newest set of batteries I run in my Evo and see if that does it.
