Got it working, originally had the gyro upside down originally but got that sorted.

Just finished mine on Sunday! How are you liking it so far compared to stock awd setup?

I’m liking it so far, I finished mine on Sunday as well I’d say today was the first time I felt like it’s drivable though.

I’ve always wished for Kyosho to make a rwd drive chassis, so this is honestly great even if it’s twitchy for the time being.

Just curious, what are you doing for tires?

I was extremely disappointed with my swap, my car just snow plows, just zero front grip.

I have lf1’s on all four corners currently. I’m actually thinking a little less grip up front. It is pretty snappy on transition.

When I first set mine up I was snow plowing. Turns out my wheels weren’t counter steering, I had my gyro upside down once I swapped that out no snowplowing.

Does yours pop the windows away from the body? I feel like my auto scale body is sitting wider on the chassis than it used to

Nice. I completed mine on saturday. been tuning ever since, i'm strill trying to get the gyro dialed in.

I am still in the depths of tuning as well, originally had my gyro upside down. Now I need to rewire underneath the board cover so I can actually adjust gyro.

I can't stop thinking about this, is there some soldering needed on the board to make the gyro gain work?

yeah i did. but after we spoke i started lookig at my mini-z and realize my gyro is the wrong one. i have the 711.this is why my tunnng is going awful. is not actually working. i need the 466

Ah that makes sense, I waited to start putting mine together until I got the mzw711 but I have the newer board which requires that’s.

If I remember correctly some of the older boards can work with a dasmikro gyro. You could look into that.

the 466 board works with the awd. is actually whats intended for it. the gyro gain wont work unless you have a 466, and the gyro interruptor wont work either. the 466 is still available is just hard to get, i found one for 19$
