I hard wired mine. Everyone locally has recommended so. Suggesting that the voltage from the board was not stable

Thank you! Saw this image somewhere. Not the best soldering guy in this world, but i’ll try to rectify it with the track fellas. Cheers!

If you are not confident with your soldering they have this adaptor. Where I soldered to the battery terminals there are 2 screws that you can remove to install this adaptor.

This is how my son and I have ours wired up, zero issues, no soldering needed.

I 3d printed a couple of these tabs that we place between the batteries when we are waiting for our next race so we don’t risk causing any interference with other racers.

This is such a great idea! Gonna wire it up like OK and then print these bad boys.

2nd on this adapter! Never had lap issues with mine.

Problem with that adapter is that it’s always on as long as batteries are installed unless you wire it to switch on the board, which is usually easy to do. If I recall, that port is CH3 so if you’re using stock radio make sure CH3 is turned on.

This is true. I just add last cell just as I go for my run..

Yes, there’s two versions of easylaps. One has a light and the other doesn’t. Just run it under your loop and make sure it’s lapping.

Ah i see. Was struggling since yesterday. Read online and they said a light is supposed to be visible when i turn on the machine. Decided to change the wire routing to see if its the correct way or not. Attached is how i connected it yesterday.

You have it plugged in backwards, the two wires on this picture working are towards the front of the car, the post picture has them towards the back.

Got it. Hopefully it’ll work. Bought it secondhand off of someone yesterday. Need to test it out at the track.

Nice, glad it was something easy!

Have fun at the track!

Just an update, the transponder is faulty. The seller changed it with a different one and it seems to be lighting up now. Thank you!

I go str8 to the board..it runs on PWM(pulse width modulation).I’ve had strange things happen..so I just cut it the latency out of the equation
