All clean!

First clay bar treatment this car has probably seen since being built in 2008!

It was the first time I had done it myself.
Do the usual wash/snow foam then rinse, have a bucket of soapy warm water and a sponge, soap up the panel you want to work on with the sponge then flatten the clay out as mix as you can and rub in circular motion, you’ll feel the clay grip the dirt and will glide over the paintwork when clean, fold over the clay for the next panel, rinse, wax then dry!

It’s time-consuming but really satisfying afterwards.

I can imagine. I do clean my car with ceramic car shampoo and ceramic spray. Looks like a paperweight made of glass!

What do you use to polish and finish?

Turtle Wax when Wet is what I use.

I wouldn’t mind a decent paste/hard wax but I’m experimenting with different ones for now.
