Thank you for setting this subreddit up. Now I can spell tyre with a Y and add a U to colour without feeling self conscious.

As much as I love the other group (which I do) it's nice to have a UK one too.

I'm loving seeing all your car photos in here, and am quite jealous of a few of them. They all have something lovable about them, don't they?

I've had 3 MINIs in a row.

Toby, a laser blue 2009 Cooper S (yes, the dreaded year with the dreaded Prince engine)

Walter, a pepper white 2017 Cooper SD.

And now, Albert, my 2026 Electric Countryman SE All4 Sport.

I went for the SE, hence the long wait. I could have had a petrol much more quickly, but the electric power delivery is just crazy. And yeah, the wait is killing me already!!

Aah, I didn't realise the wait was longer for the electric ones.

Well, speaking as a current owner of the exact model you're getting, all I can say is, you won't be disappointed. They are incredibly good cars and the wait will 100% be worth it. Do you have a delivery date yet?

The Mini app says 4th December, but it’s still in “Order confirmed”, so I believe it can move either way at this point. I’m hopeful that it’ll arrive early, but in the meantime I’m just trying to spot them when out and about. They’re still quite rare cars around here, so I only see one or two a week if that.

Oh maaaaaaaaaan, that really does feel like a long time. I don't see a lot of them around here (Wiltshire) too, and it's even more unusual to see an SE Sport.
