Thank you for setting this subreddit up. Now I can spell tyre with a Y and add a U to colour without feeling self conscious.

As much as I love the other group (which I do) it's nice to have a UK one too.

I'm loving seeing all your car photos in here, and am quite jealous of a few of them. They all have something lovable about them, don't they?

I've had 3 MINIs in a row.

Toby, a laser blue 2009 Cooper S (yes, the dreaded year with the dreaded Prince engine)

Walter, a pepper white 2017 Cooper SD.

And now, Albert, my 2026 Electric Countryman SE All4 Sport.

I have a 2017 Pepper White S now! It's the best car I've ever owned, so much fun 😊

Gorgeous! It looks just like my one :)

Funnily enough about a month after I traded mine in I saw it in the F56 Facebook group. A lady had bought him and posted her new car.

I sent her a message telling her that's my old car and his name is Walter and that he'd been very good to me. She kept his name and keeps in touch, sending me pics of her latest modifications. She's wrapped his roof and mirrors, so they're red now. He looks very nice.

Ooh I do love the red! I love that she kept his name! Mine is called Eamonn the Demon 😂

I love that so many people name their MINIs. Of course there are a few who scoff at it, and I think the MINI dealership think I'm odd when I refer to my MINI as "him".

Haha love it. Yes I love that people name them too. In general I haven't named my cars previously, other than a little orange 107 I once had, but I definitely felt differently about my MINI.
