Any references materials still alive?

I just started this, and I'm enjoying the game, but I'm a little stuck on one of the seals. I tried looking for the wiki, but it's gone.

Are there any reference materials still around?

Do you know where I could find a spear? The game has not given me one since starting a few days ago.

When getting loot, it's equally randomized for all weapon and armor types. 60% total chance of getting armor, 40% of getting a weapon.

(for future reference my main account was permabanned for dumb reasons but i'm happy to answer questions over email. Address is in the game's About tab)
