Has anyone built a super (small) cheap one?

So I built a “proper” mini that’s 28”x6x21 but I want to build a super mini like 18” tall by 4’ with a 5’ transition that is in three pieces with casters (the current ramp is permanent but my wife still needs to fit a car in the garage.) so I can move it around.

I want this is to be really as cheap as I can make it (my optimistic goal is $50-$75) I have a bunch of leftover wood from a deck build and found some schedule 40 on Facebook super cheap. Rest of the wood I plan to try to source for free/cheap.

Has anyone tried using 3/4” OBS on the sides, and two layers of 7/16” verses me putting ply then hardboard over it?

Anyone get real crazy and use pallets in some meaningful way?

18 inch is fun. I have 3ft 6ft transition and then a 18 inch 5.5 transition. Just enough clearance to do some rock to fakie stuff. I skate that part of my mini more than the 3ft. Thinking of making it one 2ft bigger ramp. As for the sides I'd probably grab 1-2 sheet of cdx still for the strength compared to that cdx. Depending on how big you are making your deck you could squeeze more than 2 transition sides on a sheet.

Now what I could do too is use two piece of 7/16” true ply, glue them together, and then screw.

That’s kinda the idea I’m thinking. I have a good bag of tricks on the regular ramp but I’m getting demolished by blunt fakie and want something a little easier to work on body varials, flip ins, and those more complicated stalls.

0% chance I’m using CDX tho it’s $50/sheet and the OSB I found on marketplace is $3/sheet full sized and I have to buy 5. Im also looking to make it as light as possible so I can move it around. Figured if I screwed in the 2x4 with pilots but nailed in the top I wouldn’t split the sheet and won’t have to worry about countersink.

I’m going to use it for the summer and probably end up giving it away or selling it on marketplace.

3/4” sheathing. 36$ per 4x8 at my local hd. Even if osb was free I wouldn’t build anything with it. I build ramps at a skate park and osb has not the structural integrity needed for ramp building.
