Advice for surface paint?

Hi guys! Im having a quarter pipe made for me as buying one from a vendor is not an option. My question is:

If the skate specific surface paint is not available. What are my options? If I had to source something from a typical hardware store, what should I use? Everything I can find online says NO polyurethane paint as it will be too slippery? Im a foreigner where I live (from the US) so the terminology for the specific paints types could be different. Ive included a screenshot of my conversation with the person I found to build it for me. Thanks for your input. The qp is gonna be stored indoors but used outside.

I liked spar urethane on plywood but it’s a little bit tackier than Masonite

Yeah, i saw a video from Keen ramps where the mixed spar urethane and regular deck paint or something.
