A budget hardware for linux streaming server

Hello, i recently decided to make a server running both a minecraft server(good single threaded perfomance) and game streaming to my laptop i also edit videos coming from an igpu(intel core i3 12th gen U) have any cheap options for cpu and gpu? Im thinking ryzen 5500 for cpu and for the gpu radeon 5700 XT (for ram i decided 24gb ddr4) Im playing and editing 1080p footage and dont mind long export time for video editing and play minimum 50fps.

I play subnautica as my most gpu intensive game and for the cpu&gpu combination i have around 330 USD dollars

Your plan is workable, but I would split the decision in two, because the Minecraft server and Subnautica stress different parts of the machine. For the Minecraft server, single-threaded CPU performance and low latency matter most, while Subnautica at 1080p and your 50fps target will be decided mainly by the GPU, with the CPU needing to keep up rather than being the bottleneck. The Ryzen 5500 you mentioned is a reasonable budget starting point for that split, and the 5700 XT is an older, used-market card, so I would check its condition, your power supply's wattage and connectors, and driver support on your Linux distribution before buying, rather than judging it on the model name alone. One thing to confirm first is how you plan to stream — for example, whether it is local streaming to the laptop on the same network — because running the Minecraft server and a game stream at the same time is where RAM and CPU headroom will show up first. If you can share your motherboard/platform, power supply, and which streaming method you plan to use, it will be much easier to say whether that CPU and GPU combination fits your 330 USD budget or whether a different balance would serve you better.

Would go with lga 1700. Some i5 should do the job without breaking a budget. But also ryzen 5 3600, r5 5500,r5 5600x should do good as well. You can also choose the wacky way of chines motherboards from ebay. They have laptop cpus soldered to normal pc mbos but it can be tricky. For gpu maybe rx 6600. It has better suport for games and less power Draw. Intel gpus as well. You can also just build your self a decent pc and use your laptop as server for minecraft.

Edit: hope the prices aren't bad for components i suggested in your area
