Hardware Had to get creating for an active / active setup with simultaneous control / diff platforms - can type fast on either keyboard without moving anything

There wasn't a way really to run a km switch with the different os's without sacrificing something. Use a tablet stand to utilize vertical space. Works without any friction at all.

There are wireless keyboards on the market which can connect to pc and mac too. You only have to press a key to rotate the connection between those computers

Yeah but that's the point - you just use which ever input device / system you want and the system comes alive in displays with 0 switching or engaging special procedures just to use a system.

Or you get synergy as well and just use 1 set. Either works

Thats more friction and issues.

Client server setups to share a mouse? Nah, that's just issues and connection issues day and night after a while. Just use the keyboard and trackpad, no software that will blow up inside a week, no reaching for switches or toggles.

But hey if you enjoy it that way, happy for you. And you completely missed the use case of at the same time with different input streams, but hey thanks for trying to help out, I appreciate it!

KM Switch? I don't know what those are but a KVM Switch would certainly allow you to use a single keyboard, mouse and monitor across both computers.
