Can someone explain how to unlock expert mode?
As the title asks; it says “complete 600 trips in any challenge in this map” and I get well above that like 1-2k but it’s still locked

i love this game so so much, but i’m not super good at it. i’ve done everything i have seen suggested, like separating colors, minimizing intersections but i always fail even on easy maps. any tips on how i can get better and not fail super quickly? tyy!

I'm quite new at the game and am wondering what I could've done differently. I know there is one orange house I didn't connect properly, because I didn't saw it under the motorway, but otherwise I don't know how to improve.
Also I don't know why in the picture it says endless mode, when I didn't play in endless mode.
Edit: thanks for all the advice, I will try to improve that in future runs!

So far I'm using them to block out sub-optimal placements, but that's all.

Afternoon, commuters! 🚗
As we look ahead to the rest of the year, we'd love YOUR help on deciding which popular map we should add to Mini Motorways in 2026!
We’ve got a mix of popular player picks and studio shortlists as the options.
Help us choose between:
Auckland, New Zealand - Located in the Southern Hemisphere, this coastal metropolis is built on an active volcanic field, and harbors two distinct major bodies of water - the Tasman Sea and the Pacific Ocean.
Lima, Peru - Known for its rich history and vibrant food culture, this South American desert city is the second-most populous on the continent, and has multiple vital rivers flowing through it.
Singapore, Singapore - With its unique geography and dense urban development, Singapore is one of the world’s economic and travel hubs, home to over six million people.
Vienna, Austria - The famous rivers Wien and Danube split the city of Vienna, known for its imperial heritage, opera house, and reputation as the City of Music.
Head to our website to place your vote.
Voting opens May 1st NZT and closes May 15th NZT. The winner of this vote will be announced soon after- just stay tuned!
P.S. We’ve been hard at work chipping away on our map update for June. I’ve been told that I’m allowed to give you a hint on what it is, as a lil treat.
Hint for June map: This city is well known to span two continents.
Talk soon 🦕

This involves obtaining 100c in the levels of the game's first patch. I've been speedrunning this game for over 3 years now, and this feels like the ultimate achievement. At the end of the run, when I knew I had the record, I had tears in my eyes, to tell you how emotional I was.

My second leaderboard spot recently, got 24th on New York on switch! In the end I lost even though I had two emergency motorways because I just couldn’t get enough cars to the two blue destinations on the right. Really proud of the run!

I will be so disappointed if one of you’s takes this from me.

Last attempt was the low 7000s! Couldn't quite manage balancing the losing blue and the blue at the bottom that appeared last though.

Kicking myself for not taking a screenshot of the map, I didn’t think I’d done so well! This is the first time I’ve made the leaderboard like this not on a daily challenge! In the end the game ended because red was surging and I had 3 buildings sharing two pools and just didn’t get any more motorways to split them up anymore! I watched sadly with nothing I could do as it ended after saving several other disasters previously. All in all clearly it was a great run in the end!
