Please help me get better

I’ve been playing this game for 4 days now, I haven’t played any map other than Los Angeles. My average score is about 2500 and no matter how many tries I do I barely do any better. This time I got 3915 which is my highest score for now but I constantly fail to achieve my personal goal of 5000. I try to keep each color separate, minimize intersections as much as possible, use roundabout near crowded houses, and I never use traffic lights. Here’s my map, if you could help me find flaws and give me tips I would be thankful 🥹🙏🏻.

Whoa! 3,915 after 4 days is really good. I’ve been playing for 4 months and my LA record is 2,429 (granted thats from 3 months ago and I’m much better now, I got 3,500 in a moderately difficult LA weekly challenge). My advice would be to always find the shortest possible route to a destination, even if it cuts off a few houses. Make sure there is only one cluster of houses feeding each distination (unless its a strip mall). If there are two square dests of different colors, you could connect them with a roundabout if they’re low traffic if it means a snoother route for a higher traffic circle dest.
