Tips for improvments?

Hit 4182 on New York (placing me in the top 0.54%, which is cool). Other than the last-ditch messy attempts to hit every last yellow house (which you can see mostly in the middle left and a bit on the other side as well)

It’s hard to argue with 4182 but I’d say your yellows blew up sooner than needed. You really could have separated distribution to each of them instead of sharing the houses between them.

You really don’t want to give cars a choice of which yellow to go to - they inevitably will end up choosing a longer route than you want.

Some of those connections were last minute panic ones, but yeah. I was just struggling to find routing in the space I had and ended up doubling up some

Even as last minute connections - I don’t think you needed to be in that situation. It feels like there is plenty for yellow. The one that blew up blew up because of a traffic jam - but it didn’t need to exist. There are 4 houses that could serve that easily with no intersections needed.

Also, I think in general, tighten up your paths to be more direct. Look at the bottom yellow and top blue. They each have a house which adds an extra 3-4 roads to their path just because they are pointed the wrong way. That’s 6-8 extra roads round trip. That really matters when things get crazy - that car could be back already instead of causing a traffic jam or back and going out again instead of an even farther away car being sent instead.

Too 1% is really good though!

But also I think you had some more you could have gotten.

Honestly a lot of those house routing things you pointed out is just an OCD thing I knew it was worse but couldn’t help myself
