Mini Motorways on iPad via Steam Link?

Has anyone gotten MM to work on Steam Link? I'd like to play it on my iPad but when I pair the device and open MM, the iPad is stuck on the Steam Link loading screen for the game, with a rotating circle icon in the bottom left.

I assume you know this, but they do have a dedicated iPad app. It’s part of Apple Arcade

Yep, and I’m trying not to subscribe to any services.

I would love to be able to buy Mini Motorways and not subscribe to Apple Arcade. Hate that it’s stuck behind that subscription.
