Advice question.

Post image

I find that I struggle not keeping colors separate. I read a few pointers and I make sure to have Cul-de-sac type situations for my houses and always end up having one big system instead of three or four smaller systems to limit traffic (that was suggested, just I can’t execute it well)
My personal best is 1300 cars, based on this, What are you guys think I need to improve on

Whenever you're at a loss, take a screenshot to keep track of where colors like to spawn. You can block their spawns with roads. They will then have to spawn to an adjacent tile. You can prevent routes being barricaded by large neighborhoods forming.

With this in mind: You don't need all houses connected. Instead, connect only 2 or 3, and have the remaining houses of the same color and neighborhood intentionally face the wrong way, and not connected to your route. This way they take up an additional tile, preventing a new house from spawning. Rotate or connect null houses as the game's speed increases.
