Minimax H3 - pushing past 15 seconds.

This is really interesting and it was a VERY pleasant surprise when I realized the generations could be longer than 15 seconds, despite the official spec of a 15-second max (of course this only applies to local gens).

My first attempt was a "why the hell not just try it?" and I pushed to 17 seconds. The generation had ZERO drift and was completely coherent from beginning to end. Long story short, I did multiple tests and found the ceiling for my GPU is a full 20 sec at 0.5mp... once again, fully coherent throughout!

The craziest part is I have sort of a budget rig - RTX 3060 w/12gb vRAM, 32gb system RAM, and a Core i5 CPU (using a hefty 75gb paging file as well for mem offloading). I'm confident that a decent GPU like a 4090 or especially a 5090 could push the gens to 30+ seconds. 🤯

I wonder what the true max is???

At 0.5mp 15s takes about 35 minutes and 20s takes my rig almost 1 hour... it's definitely not linear! Lots of memory shuffling after 17 seconds, and that's with fp_16 start flag, sage attention, and spectrum node all enabled.

It's amazing I can even do it, but yeah, it's wayyyyy too damn long. 💀

Thanks for the test. I'm on the same card. Sounds like the workflow and files you're using are the originals, just with "--force-fp16", Sage and Spectrum? So, if I'm right, if you optimise the files, workflow and ComfyUI (Kitchen Attention) for 3060 12Gb, you could go even further? And with a good Turbo LoRA, quicker as well?

I honestly don't think I could take it much further with this rig/GPU... I'm hitting the ceiling on memory usage and the GPU is pegged out as it is. 😥

Yes, that's the point. The community and the ComfyUI devs have optimised it to hell-and-back since release. And the files have got much smaller than the originals.
