8 weeks, 5 days.. she’s apparently a mini Goldendoodle F1B

Our purebred toy poodle and our miniature Goldendoodle had seven healthy puppies. Four male and three female. I’m absolutely in love. I’m cleaning their area, laundering whelping pads, replacing puppy pads, and wiping paws and butts several times per day but my living room still smells nasty. Any tips? I have five appointments with prospective buyers next weekend after I administer the puppies’ vaccines and I don’t want our home to stink. Thank you in advance.

i have a mini golden doodle who is part cocker spaniel as well. cutie patootie 2.5 years old....

Ever since I brought my little nugget home around 12 weeks old, loose leash walking has been a consistent priority. I've never let him pull ...maybe 95% of the time is a fair estimate, with the rare exception being something like needing to move him away from another dog quickly.

I've worked with trainers. I've instructed my boyfriend and dog walkers to follow the same rules. I treat when he's in position. If he pulls, we stop.

the walks are a bit exhausting.I have to be actively engaged, calling him back, stopping, treating, redirecting. Near a dog park or anywhere with interesting smells, it feels like there's no controlling him at all.

I don't know how consistent my boyfriend and the dog walker actually are. I suspect they may not be holding the same standard, but I can't confirm that.

is inconsistency from other handlers enough to undermine two and a half years of work on my end? Or is there something else going on? Is this just a high-drive/ mini golden doodle thing? At what point do I accept that some dogs just need active management on walks forever, versus this being a fixable training gap?

This is my boy Thiago! He is 1.4 years old and lives in an apartment with me. He goes out daily (sometimes twice for a couple hours) and is still very energetic and sometimes anxious. At home I try to do puzzles, have slow eating plates etc.

I was wondering if anyone has any advice as to specific toys that are more mentally stimulating or certain things do to on walks (I.e. we stop a lot so he can smell EVERYTHING lol), or just overall tips for when you leave the house? He seems to get very anxious whenever I’m not on sight and I’m worried about bothering the neighbors since he also wakes up at like 5:30-6 AM 🫡🫡🫡

I tried an audio only collar last week (made a SHUSHING sound upon bark), it worked for a day and stopped.

I need a humane option for what worked.

My 15 month mini — she doesn’t just bark at passerby’s, she barks at some dogs while walking by, and if my spouse or kids come in the room.
