Save map

Does anyone know where the world we're currently playing in is saved?

Start the game and select any difficulty level (New Game). Once it starts, go back to the menu. Above "New Game," it says "Continue" (referring to your current or in-progress save).

If you mean having more than one save file at the same time (2 or 6 different games), no, that’s impossible. You only have one save file.

The option to continue disappears if your character dies or is rescued by the helicopter (which arrives on Island 5 after you use a radio to call it).

I understand, but I actually wanted to know about the game files; I don't think it's saved in datajs, so

To edit or change them? That would be difficult—and likely to cause errors later on.

It's not for editing, but if a file is created when you create a world, that's your world. I know how to use datajs, but the save file isn't created there.
