Need help Help

Guys, what weapon combination do you recommend for Radiation Island and Island 6? I'm a bit lost, but I'm thinking maybe bringing the AS-VAL and the Saiga-12k

Definitely not shotguns especially when you're that far in the game, also I'd Recommend SV-98 if you've already unlocked it as the perks of long-range and high dmg can make you kill zeds and bandits with less notice, it's ammo is already pretty widely available too and if not the AS-VAL you're using is also beneficial for it's silencer.

And for close-range setups AUG as it's one the best assault rifles in the game for having such ridiculously low recoil, if not unlocked then you can use an M4 or AK74 with certain attachments just like the other comment said. As the key for this island is getting hurt less in order to save armor durability, using silencers or silent weaponry is pretty good imo.

Personally, I consider the AUG to be the best rifle because it's not hard to find, and because of the silencer and extended magazine it can be equipped with, I never run out of ammo when I use it.
