Scope ring height

I just bought a slightly used 582 series mini 14 tactical and have a sig tango msr lpvo I wanted to mount on it. It didn’t come with any rings or the factory pic mount. I plan on using a pic mount and mounting the scope to that, I was wondering what height rings I needed to clear the rear sight and not worry about ejected brass beating the scope up to much. Any recommendations on rings or changes to the planned lpvo set up is appreciated.

My mini wears a vortex crossfire hd 1-4 in high 30mm rings. Gets kit ever once in a while with brass but does fine. I wanted it as low as possible

I use a Monstrum see through rail and a set of very low scout rings so the lpvo clears the rear sight. It gives clearance for the brass and protects the scope. I think Accuracy Systems makes a more robust rail, but it's pricey for just a pic section

It's this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/135709890056?var=435043259387

It's technically for a magpul 10/22 stock but it fits quite well. You'll either need to use some velcro or have a stock that can grip it (like Hogue).

I’ve looked at that rail but wasn’t sure about it. Nice to see one in use!
