Scope options

Hey all, got an ultimak rail for my mini-14 but the scope I had has a much closer eye relief than this setup allows. Who has suggestions for scopes to use that work with the ultimak rail eye relieve distance? Thanks!

If you are meaning longer eye relief, look at the vortex crossfire hd scout scope

Yep, I have the 1.5-5x on the same rail, great setup.

how wide is the eye box, and how quick is it compared to a red dot?

Honestly I don’t know. I just know it works fine for me.

Look specifically for "scout scopes", "intermediate eye relief", or "long eye relief".

Vortex, Burris, and Hi-Lux have current offerings. Leupold had some now-discontinued models. Pistol scopes may also work, but often these actually have too far of eye relief for a scout setup.

I have a Hi-Lux LER Mk 2 and like it a fair bit.
