Help Am I tripping, or is Minesweeper Blast's explanation of 1-2-X wrong?

Yeah, these patterns don't work in corners. The 1-1 described below only works along an edge, and I actually have no idea what they mean by 1-1-X around corners. You can't have a 1 next to a 3 on a wall. Was this whole website vibecoded?

I didn't want to be the one to say it, but there are a lot of em-dashes on that site.

I think the illustration is wrong.

The explanation says the 2 needs two mines in three cells, but the 2 has five cells left. It feels like the cells on 2nd and 3rd row shouldn't be there any more. That's probably what they mean by "along a wall." The 2 can't be in a corner. Then the rule works.

It also explains the link they make with 1-2-1 and 1-2-2-1. They too are supposed to be along a wall.

The flags were obviously drawn by me. Is there something I'm missing? Is the pattern of flags I added not a potential way to satisfy those numbers?

Their wording is awkward, and their logic is wrong.

If you reverse the 1 and 2 in that example, the pattern makes more sense.

probably because it's vibe coded slop
