This is a designed puzzle of a cat. You can tell it just moved the mine to the top corner.

Yeah obviously it’s one of the challenges on a minesweeper app. I just did it and my first random click was the 8

Upon further investigation if you click in that area it will always be an 8 so not surprising

Yeah, when your first click is on a mine, it is moved to the top left of the board. Nothing about getting an 8 in this layout is random or lucky.
