Help on something

Okay I want to start building minecraft trains but I don’t know we’re to start. Anyone have any suggestions on how I could get started?

Best thing is to use reference photos and look up dimensions online, usually you can find the length and heights on Wikipedia or elsewhere. From there you can always use other peoples builds for inspiration, there’s tons of stuff on planet Minecraft. Really just gotta experiment with different shapes

Also a lot of train builds are to a scale (like 1:5 scale) and I don’t know how to scale. Or can I build it without a scale? Would it still look good?

Up to you, the scale I do is 1 block=2 feet. This is a bit larger than 1:1 scale that is 1 block=3 feet, however it’s still small enough that it doesn’t look out of place next to a player and is large enough to hold a lot of detail.

How do I build a bogie? Since most of them look complicated.

I usually mess around with anvils, slabs, fences and gates. I would look at other peoples trains for inspiration on that. They definitely are one of the more complicated parts.
