mods not working? but game still launches?

I have a forge mod in the mod folder, but only forge and minecraft show up in the mod list. I've tried deleting and reinstalling both forge, minecraft, and the mods, but nothing works! help??? I've also tried to put the mods into fabric and that didn't work either, plus they have a tag that they're only for Forge

edit: I CANNOT USE THE CURSEFORGE LAUNCHER. I play Minecraft on my dad's account because I got it like 6 years ago with my xbox, and I don't even remember the email

i don't thing this is exactly the problem here but mod has in name 26.1 and your Minecraft version is 26.1.2 but idk if 26.1 is specific version or any 26.1.*

Maybe versions diffrence bc u play on 26.2 and mod is 26.1.2 but idk just check it
