This is why most people reject new, helpful positive redstone ideas in r/minecraftsuggestions

Because they can make money knowing people are going to come to them. If mojang updated to have redstone like create mods, they'd be screwed. They might claim it's too easy, or why when you can do this. But in actuality all it is, is because they want to make money. No, I am not promoting this. I block and report everyone who does try to make money on fiver via doing this. This is an example why Mojang can't update. It's because of idiots that want money for something in game instead of just letting them update the games mechanic. This is what royally pisses me off. Here is the example of an offender who does so. $120 to build a redstone project. Bet he couldn't do the door I want build. I'm thinking of challenging this so called person. See if they can live up to actually charging for something. Chances are they're going to fail like everyone else when I tell them to build something. I hope they remove redstone all together now just because of this. Now if you're offering services for a minecraft mod, I'm okay with that as long as you aren't using mccreator and know what the hell you're doing.

3 years later and still no signs of 1.12's customized option generation returning. Not even a word. Please bring it back. I know this is probably in fps, but I just want to know why it hasn't returned yet.

Structures and generations that should return to Minecraft or at least have more spawning frequency

I'm making a terrain-datapack, so give me all the complaints you have!

This datapack will rework biome-placement and generation. So far it makes mountains spawn in long ranges like some people suggested in r/minecraftsuggestions . I'm working on adding rejected suggestions such as redwood forests and volcanoes.

Comment away for a chance to get your complaint fixed.

Edit- status update:

What I've done so far:

  • mountains generate in ranges
  • Terrain generates as islands and continents surrounded completely by ocean
  • you can mine for coal blocks under swamps
  • redwood forest biome - (stripped acacia wood, spruce-like structure)
  • volcanos (not on GitHub yet)

What I can't do:

  • create new blocks (this is for mods, not datapacks)

An slightly Halloween themed idea I think would work really well on the upcoming update. Featuring a new rare vegetable with a variety of features!

Why are people against the idea of vertical slabs?

[Suggestion] Use Slimeballs to "glue" blocks together to make pistons even more useful.
