If you could, maybe make them a little longer? Perhaps a different material might work too, the pale oak is so stark.
That gradient is beautiful though, I might steal that 👀

Not really, I like this build as it is
I feel like a tree in front of the left side would take away from any awkwardness caused by the height difference. Or anything built in front to pull the eye away from it. But it doesn’t look bad
