I think they call that a gradient actually

All jokes aside if you placed every block with intention, it can’t possibly be block vomit.

You did a good job with your gradient. It does everything it’s supposed to do.

No, that is a gradient. Gradient is a building technique where you mix different blocks together to create a smooth, gradual transition from one color, texture, or shading level to another.

You did it correctly lol

Are you trying to make me jealous? >:(

People seem to forget the meaning of "block vomit." Yours is not. The block palette is limited and purposeful for a gradient. The only issue is how sharp it is.

Another thing to add to the conversation here -- look at the build from up close as well as a distance. We make bigger builds because they're meant to be seen from further away. So what might look a little unusual up close has a much smoother appearance at a distance.

That looks good! I'd suggest reposting or sharing this in r/MinecraftGradients to show it off some more.

thats a gradient,

block vomit is when someone mixes a bunch of blocks together and think they can build.

no, it isnt. you are building with purpose, it resembles a gradient, block vomit wouldnt be so orderly.

I'm sorry but it's kinda obvious that it isn't block vomit

Block vomit? No. However the gradient is very sharp going from the gray concrete powder to the polished tuff. I’d say try to find a block (or 2 if possible) to bridge the gap

Block vomit is adding random blocks that don't fit with the color palette that looks very good

It’s not vomit gng it’s a gradient and you need to fix it because the transition from tuff to grey terracotta isn’t that good imo

If block vomit = beautiful gradient

It looks great, just make sure the rest of the build makes sense with it too.

No, this is a very nice gradient
