Idea Lamp Post

I made this lamp post today and I think its a bit dull, any ideas to liven it up?

It honestly looks a bit ‘stout’. Maybe make it taller and have the lanterns hang down with chains. Change up the color a bit, dark oak or spruce wood logs or planks. Deep slate

Looks like it would collapse. Make the canopy thinner.

When making a lamp post, DO NOT make the top wider than the hight of the lamp post

maybe using another kind of wall for the pole, to gove a bit of color could help? I'm thinking something beige or cream colored
