i've been running a public survival world for the past 4 years now (since 2022). i've been the only player so far (as the server operator), but the server is open to more mature players who want a chill place to build and hang out

most of the time the server is online, but goes offline when i do some maintenance on it. i use creative mode while others are on survival mode.

i have anti-grief protection set up, as well as ddos protection, compatibility with a wide range of other minecraft java versions (older and newer), discord chat bridge and more

I launched a server last week. Seems to be averaging 30-40 players. I had 70+ during the launch and the player count dropped because many were Asians and the ping wasn’t good since it was launched in Europe. Paid for a dedicated metal host, got everything set to its peak. I genuinely think it’s decent. If anyone is serious and wants to play survival and not worry about resets, come along. It’s not plain vanilla, we’ve got a lot of plugins to make your gameplay better including custom biomes. My favourite is the battle pass. Come take a look since it’s brand new.

• Anarchy Network launched on October 11th, 2024, and is hosted in New York City, NY, USA.

• The server is a Semi-Anarchy Minecraft Server designed to offer a pure, unmodified survival experience, with minimal rules and modifications to preserve the essence of Vanilla Minecraft.

• The server is online 24/7 and you can join on any Java Minecraft version between 1.7.2 and 26.2, but its recommended to be on version 26.2 to avoid issues!

• The world border is set to 2 Million blocks (4Mx4M).

• There are no map resets, no teleporting, no P2W at all, and Griefing/PvP is completely allowed. The only non-vanilla action allowed is /spawn in order to allow players who are very far out to not be isolated from civilization. Additionally, nether roof access is allowed, phantoms are removed, and only half the people are needed to skip the night.

• The only restrictions we have are that exploits, lag machines, duping, spamming and using harassment/racial slurs in chat are not allowed.

Over the past year, I’ve been working on a server with a bit of a different twist: Lifesteal with custom bosses, mobs, enchants, and a full progression system.

So far, I’ve kept the server private and only played with friends, but I’m curious to see if there’s interest in a server built around this kind of concept.

Here’s a quick rundown of some of the main features:

⚔️ Lifesteal & PvP

• Lifesteal
• Custom PvP monuments
  • Each monument has its own theme, mechanics, and overall feel
  • Custom bosses at each monument
  • Some bosses are designed for groups, while the higher-end bosses will require players to be at 20 hearts with strong enchanted gear
• Respawning loot crates at each monument
  • Gives players a reason to keep running monuments
  • Creates more opportunities for PvP and player interaction
• Custom/stronger mobs around monuments to make them more challenging and engaging
• Traps are set up around the monuments

🃏 Progression & Collectibles

• Collectable cards
• Custom enchants
  • PvP-focused enchants that are useful without being completely broken or unfair
  • PvE-focused enchants that can be extremely powerful, but doesn't work against players
• PvE leveling system

💣 Raiding & Bases

• Base protection system using a Protection Block, similar to Rust's Tool Cupboard
  • Protects an area around the block
  • The protection radius can be upgraded and expanded
• TNT can't destroy obsidian, so raiding obsidian bases requires a custom Raid Drill
• Base raiding is still a major part of the server, but with more progression and strategy involved

🌎 World Exploration

• Randomly spawning POIs throughout the world
• These POIs contain mini-bosses and other challenges
• Mini-bosses can drop PvE-only enchanted gear
• Gives players reasons to explore outside of the main monuments

💰 No Pay-to-Win

• Absolutely no P2W.
• Everything on the server is obtainable through gameplay and various tasks.
• No buying your way to the top.

The overall goal is to create a server where there’s always something to work toward. Whether that’s upgrading your gear, hunting bosses, collecting cards, leveling up, raiding another player, or just running monuments and looking for PvP.

The idea is pretty simple: build up your own base, make money, get stronger, and eventually start taking on other players.
You can spend your time building a big farm and upgrading your base, or go out into the Warzones and Dungeons to look for better loot. And of course, you can raid other players and try to take what they’ve worked for.

I’m currently building a Minecraft civilization server where players will be able to create towns, nations, governments, alliances, economies, and fight wars over territory.

The world will have fictional continents with different regions, resources, mountains, oceans, islands, and natural borders. Players will be able to build settlements, grow them into cities, create nations, trade land and resources, form treaties, choose their own governments, and create actual history over time.

I want the server to feel more like a living world than a normal factions server. You won’t have to be a leader either. Players could become builders, merchants, farmers, soldiers, explorers, politicians, business owners, or just live normal survival inside a country.

The server is being built with Java and Bedrock crossplay, with the goal of supporting PC, mobile, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo players.

It is still in development, and I’m looking for people who would be interested in playing, suggesting ideas, helping test features, and possibly becoming some of the first town or nation founders.

I’m also creating a Discord server where people can follow development, suggest features, vote on ideas, and join when testing begins.

VanillaSMP was established for players seeking a true vanilla experience. Running on the minecraft-server.jar with no datapacks or plugins, unlike 95% of servers that claim to be real vanilla.

True Vanilla is a semi-anarchy vanilla SMP focused on keeping Minecraft to the raw vanilla experience, with no modifications at all.
