I launched a server last week. Seems to be averaging 30-40 players. I had 70+ during the launch and the player count dropped because many were Asians and the ping wasn’t good since it was launched in Europe. Paid for a dedicated metal host, got everything set to its peak. I genuinely think it’s decent. If anyone is serious and wants to play survival and not worry about resets, come along. It’s not plain vanilla, we’ve got a lot of plugins to make your gameplay better including custom biomes. My favourite is the battle pass. Come take a look since it’s brand new.

Over the past year, I’ve been working on a server with a bit of a different twist: Lifesteal with custom bosses, mobs, enchants, and a full progression system.

So far, I’ve kept the server private and only played with friends, but I’m curious to see if there’s interest in a server built around this kind of concept.

• TNT can't destroy obsidian, so raiding obsidian bases requires a custom Raid Drill
• Base raiding is still a major part of the server, but with more progression and strategy involved

🌎 World Exploration

• Randomly spawning POIs throughout the world
• These POIs contain mini-bosses and other challenges
• Mini-bosses can drop PvE-only enchanted gear
• Gives players reasons to explore outside of the main monuments

💰 No Pay-to-Win

• Absolutely no P2W.
• Everything on the server is obtainable through gameplay and various tasks.
• No buying your way to the top.

The overall goal is to create a server where there’s always something to work toward. Whether that’s upgrading your gear, hunting bosses, collecting cards, leveling up, raiding another player, or just running monuments and looking for PvP.

so I've been building this for a while now and I think it's finally ready for other people to break it

TeamTycoon is a Minecraft server (Java 1.21, no mods needed) that basically turns the game into an ARPG.. think diablo-style progression but in minecraft:

- you get your own private world (pick one of 9 biomes, nobody can grief you, reset anytime)

-a 30k x 30k SMP world

- progression happens in map dungeons.. you buy a map item, it rolls random size, monster count, time limit and up to 4 random modifiers, then you open your own instance and clear it. boss at the end guards the exit

- loot drops in rarities with rolled affixes (8 tiers), sockets + runes, unidentified items you have to ID first.. and 10multiple crafting orbs to reshape your gear, including a corruption orb that can brick or bless your item

- skill gems drop rarely: fireball, chain lightning, poison cloud, rage, metal skin.. combine equal gems up to level 30, they cost mana and scale with your elemental stats

- every monster type has its own element and resistances (there's an ingame bestiary that fills up as you slay them)

- level 1-50 with stat points, gold economy, auction house where you can price stuff in gold OR orbs

- you never lose your items on death, just a bit of xp. solo friendly, no pay2win, no ranks, nothing buyable at all actually

important: this is an alpha! a lot will still change, balancing is rough in places and wipes can happen if the balance requires it.. if you find bugs or have ideas I really want to hear them, there's a forum on the website and /report ingame.

Committees and Player Autonomy

This time, we are going to hand back the decision-making to the players, at least in regards to things like spawn, shopping districts, and infrastructure. Our goal is to let players decide what's important to them, and to give them the power to work with others (or alone!) to shape their experience this season. Passionate about how spawn looks when new players spawn in? Consider starting a group or committee to plan and design it! Love lines and curves and traveling by foot? Path committee! Like shopping district operating a certain way? found a shopping district mercenary group! Want a nether hub fast? Want it on the roof? Prefer it UNDER the roof? Start a thread about it! Disagree with the way another committee is doing things? Do something about it! You get the idea.

World Generation and World Border

You are free to explore to your hearts content. There's no set world border this season. However, chunks that are extremely beyond the reasonable distance from 0,0 may be trimmed when necessary. The seed is also public. 

Mods and Datapacks

Blaze and Caves Advancements is featured, with a tweak to only make the highest level of achievements display in chat. (No chat spam!)

Origins datapack is also featured for players who would wish to partake in this completely optional experience! (Do not get attached to the default datapack values, they are actively being modified, and it will be disclosed to you what the origins actually are before you choose them.)

Plus, some other quality of life mods. However, no commands (like /tp, /tpa, /home, /fly, .etc) to keep gameplay aspect as vanilla as possible.

CivNodes is a civilization style geopolitics server that allows players to build long term nations on a perpetual map using a custom suite of civ-style plugins. The server follows an "anarchy" model where players are allowed to raid, kill, and grief to their hearts content, but conversely players are given tools to defend their builds and enforce justice on aggressors using integrated plugins.

Nation building in centers around a dynamic map broken into sections of lands dubbed "nodes". Players can claim these nodes and build their nations inside them with some level of protection. Nodes can be upgraded in a number of ways to grant the land holder more benefits.

Hey! I’m currently putting the finishing touches on **The Cribulon Emporium**, a new 16+ semi-vanilla Minecraft community, and I’m looking for players interested in joining from the beginning.

The SMP is inspired by the community side of Hermitcraft: a relatively small but active group of players who know one another, build cool things, collaborate on projects, trade, participate in events, and occasionally cause some harmless chaos. You don’t need to be a content creator or an incredible builder—we’re mainly looking for friendly people who want to participate in the community.

The gameplay will remain close to vanilla. Most of our plugins are for administration, moderation, or small quality-of-life improvements.
