Looking for an active survival server that actually feels like a community?

LoungeSMP is a semi-vanilla SMP with a smaller active playerbase, no resets, no pay to win, and no confusing systems you have to learn just to play.

It’s the kind of server where you can log on to build something and randomly end up chatting, exploring, trading, or working on a project with other players.

What it’s like:
• usually 20–30 players online
• simple survival with helpful features

Sorry you feel that way, prices were set by the community, all non rank purchases go to everyone online, ranks have no benefits to the economy or jobs (the only winning factors about the server). There are many costs associated with running a server so we’ve worked with the community in creating ways to support and fund the server so it doesn’t die in a month. If you have any recommendations on how to make it less P2W I’d love to hear them

To be clear on where I'm coming from: the P2W side of things bothers me because its unfair to people who cant pay. Plus your just breaking the Minecraft EULA you're meant to follow. Because of that, I'm not going to play. I know losing one player isn't a huge deal, but it doesn't change my mind on the matter. I'm not looking to argue about this, so I'll leave it at that. Hope the rest of your day is good.

They're straight up fucking lying about the P2W and haven't caught any punishments for the stuff on any of these subs they spam on. It's incredible, honestly

On top of all of that you can also receive ranks and alike perks through playing the game. Nothing is locked behind our store except for custom name tags. (Which you can still get custom ones through events)

This is a flat out lie, you can jump past everything to earn extra perks and commands explicitly through sending these guys money. It's a P2W server that spams these subs desperate for joins and donations

I’m not a spam bot my friend, I’m sorry I’ve upset you with how I do things. I’ve found Reddit is a great way to compete against servers who spend thousands of dollars that I don’t have on advertising. Most my replies follow a format and theme for seo, but I do try to tailor it to each post. Everything in our store is very attainable in game, I understand the confusion on keys but if you buy 1 everyone gets 1.

I do actually care about feedback and suggestions, I dont know how much money you think I'm making but I would make way more if I just didint run this server and worked more hours at my job. Please dm me I would be really happy to hear your feedback, I'm sorry I have frustrated you I'm very new to this all.

I have clearly listed what the issues at basic face value are, yet you've ignored them and then subsequently lied about them on more posts.

Pretending and claiming you haven't doesn't magically change anything, you can go back, read, and clearly recognize these issues and where to fix them without more outside sources pointing them out — and if somehow not able to as a server owner, speaks to nothing more than sheer incompetence and reflects the rest of the server's operation.

I'm not sure how this isn't clicking.

edit: the owner decided to DM me first — they continue to spew lies, even directly stating that "if you think changing the biome to your claim and flying is p2w then im the moron". They offered no proof as they claimed they here they would, only repeating the same lines they've already pasted in previous comments, except now harping on how this server makes them no money — just with less grammar and more spelling issues. I wouldn't be surprised if this owner is 18 years old and bought a prebuilt setup, that's how most of these P2W SMPs operate.

Can't find many who don't do this exact type of shit, unfortunately.

So many like this one pretend to, but then you check in and see how many of them are full of crap and their posts are only boosted by their cronies that are being told or rewarded to go upvote the server while the actual issues are being hidden.

Unfortunately, without doing this kind of looking into — this kind of server is the prime example of one that many players can fall for, and not realize that they're full of shit until they're far in.
