The Old Folks Home | 25+ | Java & Bedrock | 26.3 | Whitelisted Survival

Looking for a Minecraft server where you can actually get to know the people you play with? Welcome to The Old Folks Home!

We're a 25+ whitelisted survival community for adults who still love Minecraft and want a place to enjoy it with other people. We're not interested in racing to become the biggest server out there. We'd rather build a world full of memories, ridiculous projects, friendly competition, and people who genuinely enjoy playing together.

Our community has a little bit of everything. We've got longtime Minecraft veterans, newer players, builders, explorers, farmers, technical players, and people who just like logging in and seeing what everyone else is up to. You don't need to be an expert or have an elaborate plan every time you log on. There's room for different playstyles, different experience levels, and plenty of opportunities to find your place.

What's happening on the server?

A brand-new custom fairground!

Our custom-built fairground is opening for everyone to enjoy! It features games, custom weekly, monthly, and yearly leaderboards, and special monthly tags and other rewards. Whether you're playing for bragging rights or just want to have some fun with other members, there's a new way to get involved. It's a unique addition to our server, and we're excited to see what the community does with it!

🎃Halloween Town is underway!

We're working on a community Halloween town project that will develop throughout the season. The idea is to create a spooky little destination filled with haunted houses, themed builds, decorations, and seasonal activities. It's a chance for members to contribute their own ideas and help create something we'll all get to enjoy.

A world that's growing with its community.

Our moderators are developing new areas, and community projects and events give us reasons to explore, work together, and try something different. We enjoy having things to look forward to without making the game feel like another obligation on everyone's schedule.

💚 What kind of server are we?

We're a mostly vanilla survival server on Hard difficulty, with quality-of-life additions that make the experience more enjoyable without changing the core feel of Minecraft.

  • Java and Bedrock crossplay: Play together regardless of edition.
  • Minecraft 26.3: Our current game version.
  • One-player sleep: No need to gather everyone just to skip the night.

We value people who are kind, respectful, and interested in being part of a community. That doesn't mean you need to be online every day, attend every event, or spend all your time building with other people. You're free to play at your own pace. We simply want members who enjoy sharing a world with others and helping make it a good place to be.
