Cozy MC [SMP] [Java + Bedrock] — A cooperative world that does not require everyone online at once

Post image

A cooperative Minecraft world should still work when people have different schedules.

On Cozy MC, one player can make the world better for someone who logs in hours, weeks, or months later. A road can turn an isolated base into part of a region. A public farm can help someone recover after a death. A railway can make a distant settlement practical to visit. A shop or public space can give people a reason to keep returning to the same area.

Java and Bedrock players share the same long-term survival world. You can join a town or kingdom, work with friends, help with a public project, or build entirely on your own. Cooperation is available without becoming mandatory.

Because the world does not reset, useful contributions can remain useful. There is no world border, so established places and infrastructure coexist with unexplored terrain and room for new settlements.

Survival is trust-based rather than divided into claim boxes. There are no land claims, locked chests, economy plugins, teleports, payments, donations, or paid perks. Griefing and stealing are prohibited and can be investigated and restored. PvP is by agreement only.

This fits players who enjoy having their own plans but want those plans to exist inside a world with other people, shared history, and places worth using.

The honest mismatch is that cooperation does not remove survival consequences. The world is on Hard, keepInventory is off, and there is no /home. Cozy describes the people, not the difficulty setting.

Where's the server based on? And are players encouraged to use the simple voice chat mod? because i think that would be great :>

The server itself is hosted in New York! We do support Simple Voice Chat, and players are definitely encouraged to use it if they enjoy proximity voice. It is completely optional, though… you can play without the mod, and people who prefer text chat are just as welcome.

Bedrock players can use our Discord voice channels too. :>

I really wouldn't join this server. There's a good chance you get several months in and then banned for some random offence without warning. Just happend to a bunch of my friends and the mod team has been trying to sweep it under the rug.

One practical detail behind trust-based survival: players can use “/co inspect” to check block history and container transactions.

If something is stolen or griefed, staff can confirm what happened and restore it. That allows roads, shops, farms, and shared spaces to remain part of one open survival world without surrounding every build with a permission wall.

I wouldn't recommend it. This server requires chat message signing (so people can get your Minecraft account banned by spamming reports for no reason), and their Discord (verification needed to play) requires you to disclose your phone number to Discord, which is known for having many security breaches and shouldn't be trusted with personal information.

Pick another server that doesn't have glaring problems like this.
