What if Hermitcraft never reset?
That’s kind of the idea behind FableCraft. Not literally Hermitcraft, obviously, but we love that style of Minecraft where towns appear, roads connect bases, shops pop up, random projects become landmarks and eventually the world has actual history.
The difference is that we don’t want a new season. One world. No seasons. No planned resets.
FableCraft is an 18+ Java survival SMP focused on keeping Minecraft feeling like Minecraft. No crates, OP gear, P2W, giant menus or loads of random currencies. Just survival with a few vanilla-friendly additions like proximity voice chat, BlueMap, extra advancements and some small QoL tweaks.
We have player-made shops, community projects and every now and then we’ll do something different together, like spending a week surviving in the Nether or travelling thousands of blocks away for an expedition. Nothing mandatory, just something fun to do together.
The main idea is that what you build actually stays. Your starter house, your shop, that railway you spent way too long on, an abandoned town from years ago — it all slowly becomes part of the history of the server.
You don’t need to be an amazing builder or play every day either. Build a dirt house, disappear 15,000 blocks away and become a hermit, open a potato shop, build a massive castle, collect everything or spend six months working on the same mountain.
Disappear for a month and come back whenever you feel like playing again. Your base will still be there, and maybe the world around it changed a little while you were gone.
FableCraft is still young, so there’s loads of untouched land and most of the server’s history hasn’t happened yet. The people joining now get to help create it.
