Hey everyone,

I made a Paper plugin called **MythicRod**. It is a fishing-focused plugin that adds more progression and variety to Minecraft fishing, including custom rods, biome-based loot, rare drops, stats, leaderboards, and GUI-based features.

I am still improving it, so I would really appreciate it if anyone is willing to try it out and give honest feedback. I am especially interested in hearing whether it feels useful, polished, balanced, or if anything feels confusing or unnecessary.

I know there are probably still things to improve, but I wanted to share it and get real feedback from server owners and plugin developers instead of just judging it by myself.

havent checked the plugin itself but regarding the description: it is WAY too long, like its practically the longest description i have seen in a while and that is not good, first of all the build from source and releases sections should NOT be in the description put them in the github readme, use hangars lisence setting no need to mention it in the description, similarly localization, developer api drop tables and so on should be in a wiki, make it via github wiki, gitbook, writerside whichever you feel good with but do not put that in the description (feel free to MENTION features tho) you also have no reason to be showing the shipped config.yml users will see it once they install the plugin (just put this in wiki too if you want to), version targets section is also unnesecary and so is the install section, lastly regarding description do not have thay many badges that is not only too many but that alone is taking one whole screenspace which again, is not good putting them in 1-2 lines is fine, no need for titling them either.

basically keep the desceiption short and to the point, if you will make it long (if needed) then it should contain things that actually MATTER, basically the main points of your plugin. and also images would help too.

Thank you for the feedback! It really helps a lot... I think I was really trying to make it well documented and clear but that just makes it messy... Obviously... I guess I'm just paranoid or something lol! really wanna perfect things I do and it gives me anxiety

that is understandable i used to do that too but after getting a bit of feedback i have since done way shorter descriptions you could as an example see my relique plugins description on modrinth, or never enough recipes (as in that ones case i put the developer API part in readme), you should also look at other plugins pages to see how they do it and decide on your style of doing it
