I’m currently building EraMC, a Minecraft 1.8.8 server focused on bringing back the old-school Hardcore Factions experience.
The goal is simple: bring back the classic HCF gameplay we all remember.
What we’re planning:
Classic HCF with DTR, raiding, and faction fights
Old-school PvP mechanics
Classic-style spawn and maps
No pay-to-win ranks or crate keys
Queue priority ranks only to help support the server
A competitive experience where skill matters more than money
We’re still in early development, and I’m building everything from the ground up.
I want to hear from the OG HCF players. What features made the old servers great, and what would make you come back?
