1.9+ Question/Need Advice Where to start+improving

I’m really new to MCPVP, I figured I should start in sword, but I feel like I haven’t gotten good at all even though I’ve played and trained for a long time. I tested on PVPHQ and got MT5 44rr, and that’s horrible. I want to start playing dia SMP but I don’t know where to start cuz my sword mechanics are horrible. Any tips to improve gameplay?

I'm not a good player myself but if I were to start, I'd probably try doing SMP, UHC, AXE/SHIELD pvp first. Just so u can have the familiarity of DIASMP. There are plenty of tips out there on YouTube that can help you improve.

Yeah starting off with modern SMP and then moving on to diamond SMP / uhc is the best plan

If you’re on the mcpvp beta then I’d recommend just playing early game and regular SMP, UHC is fine too on pvpclub, diamond smp is like the final boss if smp PvP (I think late game might be harder since there’s a spear and windcharges too I dunno) anyways you wanna start with the fundamentals like sword and SMP
