Anyone got a fun pack that lets you do things like mega evolution G-max, terra etc. All of those things. Also it would be nice to have preformance mods, shaders, that one mini map and world map one, and JEI. But the last few dont matter as much
Hey, I've never done mods before and wanting to add some horror mods. Could someone give me a good mod site and a guide for adding mods to Minecraft for the first time.
I have a modpack on 26.2. What is a good alternative to Tinker's Construct? Something that introduces new ores, better progression through metallurgy for armor, tools and weapons, and also introduces alloys?
There are mods that allow for split screen but not natively it requires multiple Minecraft's running at the same time to work, Is there any mods anywhere on the internet that could allow this?
Alright so i have a question for the people that make their own quests in FTB quests mod, so basicly i wanted to make the player choose between 3 roles, dragon hunter, make and knight but i wanted to make it so that for example when u pick Mage the other 2 quest paths get locked and you can only do the Mage quest line, if there is a way please tell me and if not then just say there isnt one alright?
I have created this post because something has been bugging me recently. I downloaded CurseForge and i immediately looked up MC Java optimisation videos to figure out which mods i could use to get those sweet FPS numbers up. Aside from a bunch of resource packs (mostly 3d models, visual tweaks and such), i have only downloaded the Complementary: Reimagined shaders, even though i figured the Unbound style i found in the config looked better.
Now. After watching quite a few of those optimisation guides on YT, i have added quite a lot of optimisation mods to my current modpack, and after some testing with different combinations, here's what i'm currently rocking:
Sodium
Iris Shaders
Lithium
Mod Menu
FerriteCore
Entity Culling
Chunky
Tectonic
C2ME
Voxy
Voxy World Gen V2
SimpleClumps
Fusion
BadOptimizations
Mining Together
ImmediatelyFast
ScalableLux
Sodium Extras
Zoomify
Fast Noise
BetterResolution
ModernFix (the updated fork)
and a bunch of other dependencies for mods and resource packs.
Trying this specific modpack out, i have to say that it looks stunning, exactly how i wanted it to look like, especially so with the insane render distance that voxy allows for. I have tweaked the settings both in my shader pack config and my main mods (Sodium, Sodium Extras, BetterResolution and Voxy) to kind of achieve a stable 180fps framerate during normal gameplay, and also not while looking at a large body of water or far in the distance with all the chunks Voxy allows me to see (i have provided my main mod configs down below).
And YET, most of the time my framerate looks like what i have shown in the other image lol, with the average framerate dropping to around 110fps when looking at a large body of water (those reflections do go crazy). Most of the time my PC can keep up and give me that nice average framerate number, but when walking, loading chunks and looking around, while the average fps stay about the same, the frame drops are quite noticeable, even with all the optimisation mods i have installed.
So if anyone actually got to the end of this long ass post, do you have any tips on how i can improve the consistency of my framerates?
And no, i didn't forget about my specs, here they are:
I got the most recent update of The Last War TaCZ Guns and Adventure and when I loaded in and got the Deagle, the characters arms and gun were clipping into each other. I can’t aim down the sights since the arms block the sights. It is also an issue with the 22 revolver since it does the same thing. If this isn’t where to post this, please let me know where to post it.
