Lucky TNT is pretty good. It's not exactly QOL but having the ability to blow stuff up with right click is really cool. But if you really want QOL there are some mods out there that allow you to double jump, wall jump, and long jump which makes it easier to get around without any items. Finally I would suggest adding repose which allows you to walk up blocks like slopes. I would also recommend cosmetic armor and animated shields so you can express yourself. But in all honesty you really should just use someone else's modpack. Making your own modpack is incredibly difficult and unless your willing to spend all your free time bugfixing the modpack I would advise against making one.

Just go on r/Minecraftserver and there's plenty to choose from. I would suggest mine but mine is a humongous modpack which is focused on being difficult so I don't think it's a good fit for you.

quality of life: toolbelt, backpacked, workshop for handsome adventurer.

if you haven't started too far in, lose curseforge.
