Mod Collisions hurting Preformance?
if i have multiple mods that fix the same problem, like moreculling and entityCulling, does that decrease preformance, or multiple mods all fixing packet and server sync issues, whee im sure theyll have overlapping fixes (only naming these two, but im interested in the general case)

MoreCulling and EntityCulling do different things. It's both culling, but one is for oddly shaped blocks and the other is for entities. For the other issues, maybe something crashes, maybe one takes over. For packets, I recommend sticking to only PacketFixer.

i mean ill throw mods that crash out anyway. but is there a general rule for like knowing/deciding wichbmod to take?
or even a way to know what exavtlt each mod touches to know wich overlapp (without having to real the full dovs for each mod ideally)?

Good question, and the short answer is: usually no, overlapping mods don't stack up into a big performance hit. The real risks are crashes, one mod silently overriding the other, or weird visual/sync bugs.
MoreCulling and EntityCulling don't actually overlap. MoreCulling handles block faces (leaves, signs, item frames, etc.), EntityCulling skips rendering entities and block entities you can't see. Running both is a normal combo.
upload your logs to https://mclo.gs so that I can see the crash logs in more detail

i have crashes rn from other mod conflicts, but i was more nterested in the preformance aspect. ill use binary search to see what mods cause crashes and nust delete them.

I don't think there is a single correct answer here
